jay oh bee.

I have been searching since June 2009 for a job.
Actually, I have been searching for a decent job since September 2008.
I have applied for nearly 750 jobs during this time.
I finally found one.
and so far... I love it.
.
I got hired at HIP Dance company right after my last job.
My last job was a joke,
lets not get into it.
But, I love my job teaching dance,
however, it doesn't bring in the moolah.
It is definitely a job of passion and fun - which is why I really love it.
.
Anyway, I was driving to one of Perry's volleyball tournaments,
when I saw a sign; "Now Hiring Part Time Customer Service Reps"
I took action.
.
It was only my second day today, but the people there are great
and the job isn't stressful so I can balance it with school and dance.
It is very laidback and great!
:)
I feel accomplished and happy, because now I can stop bumming off my parents SO much.

forgotten thanks.

If you know me even some what,
or are around me at this time of year,
you know what makes me extremely angry.

this...[taken 11/18/2009]

I hate people skipping Thanksgiving and going straight to Christmas!

Thanksgiving used to be known as the day of giving thanks,

now it is known as "that day before the big Christmas shopping day."

.

It makes me so angry to go to stores and see their Christmas decorations already up,

it makes me angry to see people have their Christmas lights hung up && on,

and most importantly...

it makes me so angry when FM100.3 and KOZY 106.5 play Christmas music!!

.

You have got to be kidding me people.

.

What is this world coming to?

-Trouble, and this year was the worst.

The week of and before Halloween people were getting ready for Christmas.

I don't even need to tell you how mad I am about it,

[except for the fact that I am typing approx. 112 wpm]

.

EVERYONE: Please remember what our dear Indian and Pilgrim ancestors did for us on Thanksgiving.

No, they did not just skip to the birth of Christ.

.

With that said,

I would like to give thanks to the following;

.

1. My Parents [love you]

2. My siblings

3. My wonderful love, Perry

4. My home.

5. My car.

6. My ability to go to school.

7. My health

8. My jobs [yes, I said jobS]

9. my pups.

10. my bed.

11. My snuggie

12. things I take for granted,

a. money

b. computer

c. clothes

d. shoes

e. food

f. and a warm place to stay during these dreadful Utah winters.

Thank you all.

Love.

the return of an elder.

My sister is making fun of my for that title, so I'm going to keep saying it.
As many of you know by now, Frank Brunt is home from his mission. Which means, yes, Perry has cut his hair. Elder Brunt returned on Friday the 13th. It was a long wait at the airport, but well worth it. There were three other missionary families waiting in the airport with the Brunt's family. Then it just happened just like that, BOOM. He came down the stairs. I was unprepared so my picture was a little delayed. But yes, I got a picture of the first hug, then everyone formed a line and waited patiently (Perry - not so patiently) and got their welcome home hug.

Frank, this boy I used to know, was so crazy and was a trouble maker just like Perry, came home a Man. He is so grown up. While driving back from the airport, Perry was sad. I asked why and he said it wasnt't the same Frank. He was happy he was back, but didn't feel like he was fully back.

After we took many pictures at the airport, we left and went and ate at Carl's Jr. Ha ha, I know seems a little funny, but it was great. Perry was sitting with me, his mom, and his sister, until we allowed him to leave the table to go sit with the boys. I looked at the table and Perry looked like a little boy on Christmas morning. He couldn't stop smiling. From there we took Frank around to see the new house in his family, and went home so he could relax. The whole day, I was wondering when we were going to cut Perry's hair, if we were going to cut it. We figured it would be best if Frank got his rest, so we postponed it.

On saturday, we had a family get together for Frank, with food and games. I ended up watching all the crazy kids. They make me laugh so hard. When the games were finished, Frank and Perry decided to cut his hair. However, they needed clippers to cut the rest of it after cutting it in the pony tail. So we had to cut it at Frank's brother, J's house. We pulled up and he wasn't at home. So we had to postpone it again.

We made a plan to cut it on Sunday after church. And sure enough, after church it was cut. Perry was a little nervous, as was I. We went into the garage and Frank started cutting the pony tail. First snip - Oh my gosh, this is really happening. Second snip - Wow, I cannot believe this. It got up to about 20 snips. He started gagging at the first snip, I would too. It was a lot of hair. He finally got it cut all the way, and Perry looked so silly. I then went inside while they finished the rest, and when Perry came walking in after, I didn't recognize him. His scalp was so white, and you could really see his red hair.

Perry's hair has already grown so much since Sunday. But I must admit, he looks very handsome. It is so new, and I love it. Perry went and played volleyball with his SLCC team last night, and many of his team mates did not recognize him, either. Perry also brought Frank with him to play volleyball, and I've never seen Perry so happy in his life. I went and picked them up after, and Perry was all smiles. He later told me on the phone, "Frank is back."

Here are the pics.

Last time of the hair.
Driving to the airport.

The end.

t.v.

I am just now realizing that I love daytime t.v.
I know saying this, you must think Soap Operas,
but you're wrong.
.
I love watching tbs.
I used to really love it when they had it in this order;
.
Yes Dear
King of Queens
Everybody Loves Raymond
Friends
Seinfield
.
but if you watch it,
you will notice they have recently changed it.
I was a little upset at first,
but now I've noticed,
I cannot live without it.
.
I also really love
Let's Make a Deal.
on at 1:00.
[channel 2]
This used to be one of my favorite game shows,
then it was cancelled.
Now it is remade, and
Wayne Brady is the host.
.
It's great.
.
I didn't used to watch this much t.v.
but what is there to do?
And really this is the only time I watch it,
minus Desperates and Biggest Loser.
.
However,
If you watch it as much as I do
You will notice,
they play the same episodes
OVER and OVER again.
.
There has to be at least 1,000 + episodes
and I have seen the same 35 on tbs for the past two months.
.
It's nuts.

drug tests.

drug tests disgust me.
I don't know if you have ever taken one,
but I have.
They're gross.
I would hate to have that as my job.
Today, I went to this place to take one,
and it was a very elderly man working there.
It was just me and him in the room.
it was awkward.
It makes me so nauseous to pee to the line
then carry it out to them,
initial the paper stuck TO the pee
and then have to dump the rest
all before I have washed my hands.
yuck.

maggie.

I know. I know. Two posts in one day? absurd.

I just have to share this hilarious story.

I teach dance all day on Fridays, with my good friend Chenelle.

They are all beginning classes that day. Chenelle has some 5 and 6 year old classes. I have all 3 and 4 year old classes. One class I have at 12:00, there is a little girl in there named Maggie. Every week, my sides hurt and I can't breathe because she makes me laugh so hard. She is barely three feet tall, and has a little pot belly. She always wears little hotties (shorts) in vibrant colors, with pretty flowers in her hair. One thing that makes everything she says funnier is her voice. She has the squeakiest voice and talks with the attitude of a twelve year old.

But anyway, last Friday she was dancing and was like, "uh... uh... I have to go to the bathroom." So I was like okay hurry, and asked if she needed help. She said no. So I stayed in the studio with the other little girls. After about two minutes, I was like, "I hope Maggie is okay, she's been in there for a long time." At the same time I was saying this in my head, I heard someone screaming something. I thought it was someone in Chenelle's class. I was also telling myself, "Geeze, Chenelle, get your class under control." ha ha. I walked outside the studio to go check on Maggie, when I heard it wasn't coming from Chenelle's class. At this point, I heard, "I'M DONE! I'M DONE! I'M DONE!......." over and over. I ran to the bathroom, where I saw Maggie's little body sitting on the tall toilet, feet dangling and all. There she looked at me, and in her squeaky voice she says, "I'm done, and I need someone to wipe my butt." I just started laughing so hard. I quickly helped her, and walked into Chenelle's class and both me and Chenelle started cracking up.

Chenelle was thinking the same thing about my class (to get it under control), and we both had no idea it was this little, tiny girl making all that noise. I didn't stop laughing about it until I went home that night. It was great.

These stories, are why I love my job even more.

less than 24 hours...

It's finally here. Two years have flown by. Elder Frank Brunt is coming home tomorrow at 10:10 a.m. Elder Brunt has been serving his LDS mission in Vancouver, Canada. This also means Perry will be cutting his ridiculously long hair. Perry and Frank have been b.f.f. since the tender age of zero days. They do everything together; make bombs on the 4th of July, get kicked out of school together, and stay up for nearly two days playing Halo or Call of Duty. Perry has missed him so much, and he nearly breaks into tears of excitement when he thinks about Frank coming home tomorrow. I regret at this moment I do not have a picture to show.

Frank has missed so much. In his family there are three new babies, and the babies they had before he left are so old, and won't know who he is. Plus, things around the world; In-N-Out Burger, President Obama, and many many movies.

I am also excited for Frank to come home, Perry just hasn't been complete with his partner in crime m.i.a. Unfortunately, I am sad to see Perry's hair go. I never thought I would say that, but it defines Perry. I have never seen him with short hair. Perry has been growing it out for nearly three and a half years. When me and Perry got together it was a mini-Afro, now it is over two and a half feet long! Perry will be cutting it very short, and donating it to Locks of Love. We don't know how short, but I told him to cut it just so you can see his little curl. He will look so different, and many people will not recognize him. To tell the truth, when I go somewhere and meet him there, I look for his big poofy hair, now I will have to look harder. However, I think he will look so handsome. Not to mention, it will only take him fifteen minutes maximum to get ready.

We will be going to the airport, to welcome home Elder Brunt in the morning. It will be a very happy day, and at the same time it will be a very sad day. Cutting Perry's hair will be like having a death in the family; everyone is sad to see it go. However, it will be great not to be stared down every time we go some place.

Quick story - Perry and I went to Cafe Rio a couple of weeks ago, and Perry is always a gentleman and held the door for some people, while I was already inside waiting for him to come and join me. Sitting near the door was a lady in her fifties, with hair touching the roof. She was GLARING at Perry and rolling her eyes. She didn't look away for a good forty-five seconds. I was practically yelling at her, "Umm.. Hello?" but she was too preoccupied staring at Perry's hair to notice. She finally looked away, and I was so bothered by her. Perry just kept telling me to get over it, but I couldn't. Has she never seen a Polynesian before? Because Perry isn't the only one with long hair! If anything, Perry's hair is the cleanest hair - everyone else wears it wild. Not to mention, look at her damn hair. On top of that all her grand-kids, ranging in ages 1 - 6, were running amok in the restaurant. I hate that.

Luckily, Perry will be donating it and giving it to many little girls who are in need of it.

If hair had a life, and could talk, listen up;

Dear Perry's hair,

You have had a great life these past three years. But unfortunately, boys are not meant to have long hair, and you will need to be cut off. Not to mention, Perry is getting very annoyed with you being in the way. But don't let that get you down. Everyone loves you, even if they say they don't. I will truly miss you. You will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Thank you for these wonderful past years.

r.i.p.

love, Kylie.

... procrastination.

I have a serious problem.

Procrastination.

I've always told myself that I wasn't that bad of a procrastinator, but let's face it; I am.

Example #1
fall break.
Over fall break, I was really behind on my studies because of some minor surgery. I told myself I was going to take that whole week I had to catch up. I didn't have that much to do, only about 350 pages to read.
What did I do over fall break?
Slept.

Example #2
second midterms.
I have two midterms this Thursday, November 5th, and I have these great study guides. All I have to do is answer the questions in the study guide and then study it. Of course, I have left it until the last minute. I told myself I would do it right now, but instead I am blogging, looking for jobs, and watching the roast of cheech and chong.

Example #3
biggest loser.
I am addicted to the show on NBC, Biggest Loser. My favorite part is when they first show up and you get to see how much they really weigh. I always look at these 400 pound contestants and ask, "How can you wake up one day and be 400 +/- pounds?" I am slowing working toward that day. I was so active in high school, and ate whatever I wanted. Now, post-highschool I am still eating whatever I want, but am no longer active - at all. I always tell myself to go to the gym or atleast to do our wii fitness - but no.
I would rather sleep.

I could go on with this list forever.

I always thought of myself as self motivated. However, this all changed when I got into college and on the first day my professor said, "Read to page 13,075 by this friday." Then I go to read and it's like I have forgotten how. All the words I use to know, or thought I knew are impossible for me to understand, plus the words I don't even know how to pronounce. College is the hardest thing anyone ages 18 - 20 could do.

I promise myself I am going to change everyday, but this time I mean it. I need to get good grades so I can graduate. I am so tired of being in school and not knowing what I want to do with my life, and hopefully this is enough motivation to keep my promises to study. Along with my promises to stay healthy and not wake up weighing a ton.

On the other hand, something that takes away my stresses is dance. I love it. I miss it. However, last week I took a class for adults at my studio. Best thing ever. I felt so alive and myself in the class. Dance really helps me focus on who I am and what I want to acheive. It's great.

If anyone is interested in the class let me know. It's great, and the teacher is AMAZING.

Thanks.
