obession.

My mother and boyfriend,
often tease me on how many purses I have,
[yes they tease and taunt me,
throwing things in my face,
and say in a mocking tone,
'you have a lot of purses, nah, nah, nah.']
and everyday I say,
"I need a new purse."
.
Well today,
I was reading my dear friend,
Natalie's blog,
[click on her name to see her blog,
oh and p.s. she's gorgeous.]
and I came across something,
that she wrote in her senior year of high school,
that I totally agree with.
.
"purses are like chocolates,
you can't have just one."
.
I love this.
Or in the case of a Lay's chip bag,
[purses are delicious]
"bet ya can't have just one."
.
So MOM and PERRY,
I hope you understand my passion for purses,
and stop teasing me,
and everyone else stop teasing me about the size of my purses.
The bigger the better.

suga'.

Last week, I did a cleanse.

Slimquick Cleanse to be exact.
.
When I graduated high school, I gained weight.
Of course, everyone does.
However, I didn't gain a lot.
.
Maybe 5 or 7 pounds.
So I would like to lose those 5 or 7 pounds,
but more importantly,
I wanted to tone my body.
Although, you are probably saying, "Who doesn't?"
.
I thought I would give this cleanse a try,
to give my toning a boost.
.
Now this cleanse wasn't a typical cleanse.
I could eat food during it.
I just had to watch what I was eating,
exercise,
and take four pills in the morning,
and four pills at night.
And like most cleanses, you get the runs (if you understand what I'm saying).
I didn't get these - at first.
.
I ate healthy,
and didn't have any treats.
It was hard, and I think my body went through a little sugar withdrawal.
One day, I was shaking and had the worst migraine.
.
But on about the fourth day I ate fast food.
I got terribly sick.
It literally went right through me.
I was really sad,
because if you know me
you know that I can eat McDonald's for every meal for every day.
I love it.
I know you're saying,
"Sick, McDonald's is so gross and unhealthy."
I know, that's why I love it.
.
But on this day, I just thought the cleanse was actually working,
but I only got sick when I ate unhealthy.
.
All in all,
I lost about 6 pounds,
maybe 5.5.
It was great.
I felt so confident looking at the scale and seeing what I weighed.
.
However,
I still need to tone.
Mainly my stomach area.
So, if you, dear reader, have any really awesome core workouts - let me know.
.
Thanks!

b.n.L.

If I had a million dollars,
I'd buy you a...
.
Nothing.
If I were to win a million a dollars right this second,
I would give it all away to charity.
.
I always think about having more money.
But since I have been having to volunteer all these hours
I have realized that the resources provided for needy families,
are not the best financially supported.
They are the ones that really need the money.
.
I would also donate it anonymously.
Places like the road home (homeless shelter) really need some help.
.
I wish I had a million dollars to give away to charities.
.
Plus, if I were to be given a million dollars right now,
and then gave it away right away,
then I would be in the same position I'm in right now.
I wouldn't know any different.
.
peace.

can't buy us love like this.

old.[I tried to find one of us first dating, but unfortunately I didn't have digital camera, and took pictures with one of those wind up cameras]
.
Yes, folks! It's true.
Perry and I have been dating for FOUR years today!
Four years ago, my parents were out of town,
and Perry came over on St. Patrick's day.
That is when we shared our first kiss.
[aawww.]
.
A day later he officially asked me to be his boo.
Obviously, I said yes.
And we've been together since then.
.
Four years long,
and still goin' strong!
new.
.
.
Perry,
I know you know how much I love you.
But I would like to tell you that you are my world,
and I am so happy that we have been through so much together.
You are the only person I can truly be myself with,
and you bring out the best in me.
You motivate me to be the best, and I wouldn't be anywhere without you today.
Hopefully, someday, I will be able to say that when I'm 85.
.
I love you so much!
.
People always asks us,
"So when ya gettin' married?"
[yes, we live in the south]
and there are a couple of reasons...
.
a) MONEY.
We would like to have money saved up to actually have a life together,
and not do the typical Utah thing and live in someone's basement.
So, why get married right away,
when literally me and perry have no money
[well Perry has a lot, I have none]
when right now both of us have everything for free?
[ha, ha. Love you Mom and Dad]
.
b) SCHOOL.
As most of you know, I am enrolled in school.
If things keep going well, I will be graduated with my Bachelor's in approximately 1.5 years.
Then a year later have my Master's.
Then my 17 certificates.
Again, once I am fully college educated,
we will have money.
Not a lot however, I did pick Social Work as my major.
:(
.
c) AGE.
I know this will offend a lot,
but I don't want to be one of those Utah girls,
that gets married way way way young.
I am not even 20 yet, and Perry just turned 22.
Why get married so young,
so then [again] we have to pay all these bills,
then pop out 25 kids before we are 26.
I would atleast like to wait until I am 21.
Then I can get WASTED on my wedding day.
[ha, ha, ha. Kidding. ha, ha, ha. I really am laughing out loud right now,
thinking of what my Mom is going to say].
{I probably need to make this bigger so she can read it.}
.
d) money.
I am one of those dumb girls however,
that has had their wedding planned since day one.
I know, you can call me stupid.
Go ahead.
I'll give you a minute.
.
.
.
Feel good?
But, when my sister got married I was secretly planning my wedding.
And have been ever since.
So when we get engaged all I need is about 2 weeks,
and we'll be married.
[kidding again]
But since I have been planning my wedding since I was 26 months,
I have a huge extravagent plan in my head,
that will costs trillions of dollars.
I would like to be able to help my parents out,
in buying certain things that I know I don't need for the wedding but would LOVE.
.
.
Okay,
so everything evolves around money.
But since we have a money tree in the backyard,
we should be fine.
[kidding, again].
Seriously though,
I bet you ask anyone who got married young,
has to live in the basement,
and now is popping out their 3rd child,
will say,
"There's nothing better than being married,
I just wish we had more money."
So why rush it?
.
On another note.
Jentri and Chris have been engaged for a year today.
Congratulations!
You can't really call it engaged for a year, because you got married.
but you know.
.
They are so happy together,
and now have a little baby on the way.
I'm so excited for that LITTLE BOY
to come.
.
[It's not really a boy, they aren't finding out,
but I have a feeling it's a girl, and I want to be a boy.
I hate girls. {kidding, again.}]
.
They are going to have a cute little family,
and unlike usual families they have money, ha ha.
Chris makes her so happy, and I am so happy for them.
Jentri is such a sweetheart and is always caring for others,
she even wrote this blog today. [Click here]
.
Love you, Jenchy.

mama raised me right.

If you are about to have a baby or getting married,
let me know and I'll throw you a shower.
ha ha

If you don't know by now,
my dear friend Natasha is getting married in 11 days.
So yesterday, I threw her a bridal shower.
We went along with her theme colors, of Ivory and Black with a hint of silver.
I invited our drill-mates, and surprisingly many of them came.
Before anyone came, me and Jentri didn't have anything to do,
and no one to take our picture,
so we set the self timer,
and took these...

The shower was a blast.
We played one game,
where Tasha had to answer questions about Logan (hubby to be),
and every question she got wrong she had to eat a piece of bubble gum,
then leave that piece in her mouth until the game was over.
She did pretty well and only had about 8 or 10 pieces in her mouth,
out of thirty questions.
.
After the shower,
just a couple of us went out.
We had like a mini-bachelorette party.
We talked about her wedding night,
and gave her gifts to use on her wedding night
[if ya know what I mean].

Overall it was a very fun night,
and I am so happy for Natasha,
and her cute little family!

working on my model walk.

I tend to laugh out loud when I am by myself all the time.

This morning I laughed to myself when I saw
a giant man driving in a very tightly packed Geo Metro
going nearly 90 mph, while his car was shaking uncontrollably.

I laughed almost as hard when I saw this picture...

No, I do not know this man. But I was looking for a picture of a big man in a little car

and this came up and I laughed out loud once again.

I know you have all done it,

when you have received a text,

and you are by yourself and you laughed out loud,

or you try to hold it in but then it ends up spilling out of your lips,

as you try to say something else.

.

next time you try to hold it in,

remember the more you laugh,

the happier you are,

the longer you live.

ha ha ha ha
