new reso.

As you are well aware,
it's 2010.
My initial resolution was to go to the gym more.
However, that it is my daily resolution,
so it has changed.
It is now to save money.

I cannot save more worth sh....
It is an extreme task for me.
I am an addict to shopping.
and the minute I get money I spend it.
It will be difficult because I will now be having very little money coming in.
[I have to quit my job that I just barely got 2 months ago,
I am way too busy
and have no time to study, sleep, eat, or have a life.]
So I only have the money from dance coming in.
But I get paid once a month,
this is a good and bad thing.
I won't be getting paid that often so I won't be tempted to spend it,
bad because
I will have all month long to think about what I will be spending my money on.
It will be a difficult task,
but I can do it.
[i think.]
I know everyone usually breaks their reso's but I feel that if I break this that I will be doomed for life.
This will seriously challenge me to see if I can prepare for my future and be able to save up for a future.
it's gonna be tough.

funny story.

Tonight, Perry and I went to the gym.
It was hard.
He worked my butt off.
But it felt great, and
was much needed.
When we were done working out,
we decided to go sit in the sauna to get a good sweat,
and to relax our muscles a bit.
As we're sitting there,
this really old [80ish] couple walks out of the steam room.
They go and sit down on the bench next to the hot tub,
so Perry and I could see them through the window.
They sit down and the wife turns her back to the husband,
the husband grabs her shoulders like he is going to give her a massage.
Perry immediately says, "Oh, that's..."
BUT right as he says "that's," she flips her swimsuit straps down,
and nearly exposes herself to the whole gym.
The husband is vigorously scratching her back,
so much she has red marks.
She decides she wants more, and lowers the back on her swim suit even farther.
She is now nearly two centimeters away from exposing her nipple.
He is still scratching away.
Me and Perry are dying of laughter and disgust,
and are trying to look away but are forced to watch.
We look one last time and his hand is all the way down,
underneath her butt scratching away,
as she is struggling to keep her top up,
so she doesn't give the little boys in the pool a show.
We finally decided to leave.
We get home, and tell my family about it and how gross it was.
They already knew.
She usually wears just a sports bra -
mind you she is nearly 80
and isn't a stick
[if you know what I mean].
And he usually cleans his feet in the pool/hot tub.
They do this all the time, and have been written up before.
Seriously folks, lets go home and do that
not sit at the gym and make everyone sick.

new baby.

I realize it has been foooorrever since my last post.
I thought I would start with some news,
there has been a new addition to the Aloi family.

His name is Sony Bravia Aloi.

He came into this world 52" wide, and in full high definition.

Along with the new viewing tablet, Perry purchased a very nice Blu-Ray player,
plus a full room surround sound system.

Need I say more?
Perry is in love.

He calls it his baby,
and asks me if I tell people about it.

I asked him to send me a picture of it,
so I could post it on here, but
he has yet to do that.

For Christmas, I bought him a TV stand for it.
He could place the
Blu-Ray player,
speakers,
his X-Box,
cable box,
and his TV on it.

It looks really nice.
Not to mention how it sounds and looks.
It's great, and sounds as if you are in the theater.
.
In other news
...
Christmas was great. New Years was great.
Both were with family, and I am thankful for all the gifts I received.
...
My girls had two Christmas performances.
One at the Festival of Trees.
They did so great!
One little girl couldn't make it, so I had to change one dance.
The other performance was at their Christmas Recital at Granger High.
They did even better then.
If I was their mom, I would be super proud of them -
I'm not their mom and I am so proud of them.
I can't wait to go back to dance tomorrow and see them.
I miss their crazy attitudes.
I am also excited to get started on their spring dances.
...
I have been super busy lately.
.
I was told when I met with the Social Work advisor at the U,
that I needed 200 to 400 hours of social work related volunteer work to even be accepted into the college of Social Work.
I met with her at the end of October.
I got started immediately, and signed up for volunteer work through the Bennion Center at the U.
It was a joke.
I went a week later and filled out all my paper work, so I could get a background check,
and the girl who was helping me said it would be about two to three days until it came back.
She never called, emailed or got into contact with me.
Finally after two weeks, I called her.
I left various messages, sent numerous emails - and
nothing.
Finally, she writes me back and says she went to Germany.
BUT that's all she says.
I continue to call and call.
Finally after a month and a half, I contact her supervisor.
He had no idea and was very sympathetic.
He gave me some places to call to do some quick volunteer work,
and advises me to call the place I was signed up to volunteer for [Family Support Center].
In the mean time, I signed up to volunteer through Salt Lake County.
.
A week later, I get a call from the Family Support Center.
They don't have my paper work, and they have NO idea what the Bennion Center is!
I was furious.
By now I have a little over three months to get 400 hours in.
I got it worked out through the Family Support Center, and am volunteering through them -
NOT the Bennion Center.
And when I called the supervisor about this - he couldn't care less.
.
However, a day after I signed up through Salt Lake County,
I got a call from the Children's Justice Center,
Two days later, I got an internship.
It is so great.
This is exactly what I want to do as a career.
.
I've been super busy but could not be happier.
Not to mention,
Spring semester starts next week,
and I plan on applying to the College in April.
