I realize it has been foooorrever since my last post.
I thought I would start with some news,
there has been a new addition to the Aloi family.
His name is Sony Bravia Aloi.
He came into this world 52" wide, and in full high definition.
Along with the new viewing tablet, Perry purchased a very nice Blu-Ray player,
plus a full room surround sound system.
Need I say more?
Perry is in love.
He calls it his baby,
and asks me if I tell people about it.
I asked him to send me a picture of it,
so I could post it on here, but
he has yet to do that.
For Christmas, I bought him a TV stand for it.
He could place the
Blu-Ray player,
speakers,
his X-Box,
cable box,
and his TV on it.
It looks really nice.
Not to mention how it sounds and looks.
It's great, and sounds as if you are in the theater.

In other news
...
Christmas was great. New Years was great.
Both were with family, and I am thankful for all the gifts I received.
...
My girls had two Christmas performances.
One at the Festival of Trees.
They did so great!
One little girl couldn't make it, so I had to change one dance.
The other performance was at their Christmas Recital at Granger High.
They did even better then.
If I was their mom, I would be super proud of them -
I'm not their mom and I am so proud of them.
I can't wait to go back to dance tomorrow and see them.
I miss their crazy attitudes.
I am also excited to get started on their spring dances.
...
I have been super busy lately.

I was told when I met with the Social Work advisor at the U,
that I needed 200 to 400 hours of social work related volunteer work to even be accepted into the college of Social Work.
I met with her at the end of October.
I got started immediately, and signed up for volunteer work through the Bennion Center at the U.
It was a joke.
I went a week later and filled out all my paper work, so I could get a background check,
and the girl who was helping me said it would be about two to three days until it came back.
She never called, emailed or got into contact with me.
Finally after two weeks, I called her.
I left various messages, sent numerous emails - and
nothing.
Finally, she writes me back and says she went to Germany.
BUT that's all she says.
I continue to call and call.
Finally after a month and a half, I contact her supervisor.
He had no idea and was very sympathetic.
He gave me some places to call to do some quick volunteer work,
and advises me to call the place I was signed up to volunteer for [Family Support Center].
In the mean time, I signed up to volunteer through Salt Lake County.
.
A week later, I get a call from the Family Support Center.
They don't have my paper work, and they have NO idea what the Bennion Center is!
I was furious.
By now I have a little over three months to get 400 hours in.
I got it worked out through the Family Support Center, and am volunteering through them -
NOT the Bennion Center.
And when I called the supervisor about this - he couldn't care less.
.
However, a day after I signed up through Salt Lake County,
I got a call from the Children's Justice Center,
Two days later, I got an internship.
It is so great.
This is exactly what I want to do as a career.
.
I've been super busy but could not be happier.
Not to mention,
Spring semester starts next week,
and I plan on applying to the College in April.
